Delete a workspace

Only the owner of a workspace can delete it.

• Sign in at dailystock.in and open Settings > Data & privacy.
• Download your data first if you want a copy (a ZIP of CSV files).
• Choose “Delete workspace”, confirm your password, and type the business name.

The workspace becomes read-only at once and nothing more is sent to your dealers. We email the owner when the request is made, 7 days before the deletion and the day before. You can cancel at any time in those 30 days, and the workspace comes back exactly as it was. On day 30 we delete it for good.

What is deleted and what is kept

Deleted: products, stock history, catalogs and files, dealers and contacts, chats and media, templates, broadcasts, settings, the connection to your Google Sheet, and the connection to your WhatsApp Business account (we unsubscribe Daily Stock from it and wipe the stored token). Team members who belong to no other workspace are deleted too.

Kept: GST tax invoices and payment records, for 8 years, as tax law requires, and a minimal record that the workspace existed and was deleted.

Delete your own account

Open Settings > Profile > Delete account on the web, or Settings > Delete account in the iPhone or Android app. If you own a workspace, transfer the ownership to a teammate or delete the workspace first. Deleting your account signs you out everywhere and removes your name, email and sign-in methods.

If you cannot sign in

Write to hello@technicalguider.com from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my Daily Stock data” and your business name. We confirm it is you and complete the request within 15 days.

If a business messages you through Daily Stock

Daily Stock sends messages for wholesalers to their dealers. If you get such messages and want them to stop, reply STOP in the chat. To have your number and chats removed, ask the business that messages you: they control that data. If you write to us instead, we pass your request to that business and help them complete it.

Copies kept by WhatsApp

Messages sent through WhatsApp are also handled by Meta under its own policies. Deleting your Daily Stock data removes our copies and our access to your WhatsApp Business account; Meta’s copies are governed by Meta.
